Artist's Description
This photo was taken on Jan 7th, 2021 at Summer Lake in Tigard, Oregon. Summer Lake is a large city park with a central lake. In the photo you only see a tiny portion of the lake. Usually in early January, its cold, rainy, often snowy and icy. This year the sun decided to come out and it was unseasonably warm.

About Loyd Towe Photography
I specialize in fine art landscape images. I live and work in Beaverton, Oregon USA and my landscape photos are taken primarily in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. Favorite subjects are Reflections, Puffy Clouds, Colorful Sunsets and Sunrises, Lakes and Rivers, Silhouettes, and the Beach. I will sometimes shoot other subjects, such as wildlife, flowers, etc. I also occasionally convert photos into digital painting art. I shoot with a Canon 5D Mk III camera and a new Canon R5 camera, Canon & Sigma lenses, Gobe 3 peak filters and edit with Affinity Photo on a Macintosh.
