Description
I have found that for some reason, sunrise in eastern Oregon is a little more spectacular.
This is Phillips Lake in eastern Oregon located about 15 miles from Baker City. The 2,235 acre lake was created by the Mason Dam and provides a reservoir for Baker City and the surrounding area.
There are several campgrounds around the lake, the main on being Union Creek campground which is where this photo was shot from.

I can see your rising early got you such an awesome golden sky and more!!! In the Emerald Valley, I remember quite a lot of burning sunsets, which people would regularly tell me does not happen. I find it difficult to experience something so nice as a sunrise or set when one doesn't venture out, nor sees. Thanks for sharing!
